USN-8130-1: GStreamer Base Plugins vulnerability

A vulnerability (CVE-2026-2921, CVSS 7.8) in GStreamer Base Plugins allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or potentially execute arbitrary code by tricking a target into opening a specially crafted AVI media file. The vulnerability affects GStreamer versions prior to 1.28.1. The fix is to upgrade the `gst-plugins-base` packages to the patched versions specified for each affected Ubuntu release.
