A critical vulnerability in Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Reader (APSB26-44) allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code by convincing a user to open a malicious PDF file. Affected versions include Adobe Acrobat DC Continuous up to 26.001.21411, Acrobat Reader DC Continuous up to 26.001.21411, and Acrobat 2024 Classic up to 24.001.30362 on Windows and 24.001.30360 on macOS. Adobe has released fixed versions 26.001.21431 for the DC Continuous track and 24.001.30365 for the 2024 Classic track, which should be applied via the product's Help menu or a manual download.
