CVE-2026-23407 (CVSS 7.8 High) is a local privilege escalation vulnerability in the AppArmor Linux Security Module caused by a missing bounds check in the `verify_dfa()` function. The flaw allows a local attacker with low privileges to potentially corrupt kernel memory, leading to high impacts on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The vulnerability is addressed in Azure Linux 3.0 kernel version 6.6.130.1-1.
