A reachable assertion vulnerability (CVE-2026-34933, CVSS 5.5 MEDIUM) in Avahi's `transport_flags_from_domain()` function can crash the avahi-daemon via conflicting publish flags. All versions of Avahi prior to version 0.9 are affected, and the fix is to upgrade to version 0.9.
