USN-8250-1: Little CMS vulnerability

A vulnerability (CVE-2026-42798) in the Little CMS (lcms2) library allows an attacker to cause a denial of service by crashing the application through a specially crafted, malformed ICC profile. The issue affects Ubuntu 26.04 LTS (liblcms2-2 version 2.17-1ubuntu0.1 and earlier) and Ubuntu 25.10 (liblcms2-2 version 2.16-2ubuntu0.1 and earlier). The flaw is corrected by updating to liblcms2-2 version 2.17-1ubuntu0.2 for Ubuntu 26.04 LTS and version 2.16-2ubuntu0.2 for Ubuntu 25.10 via a standard system update.
