Boost Security has acquired SecureIQx, an MIT-founded startup specializing in software composition analysis reachability, and Korbit Technologies, an AI-driven pull request review platform. These acquisitions aim to enhance Boost's AI-Native SDLC Defense Platform, which combines developer endpoint protection, software supply chain security, and AI-native application security posture management. The SecureIQx technology will provide reachability analysis for both binary and source code across multiple programming languages, helping teams identify exploitable vulnerabilities. Korbit.ai's AI system, trained on extensive codebases, will flag security flaws and coding errors during the pull request stage. The company stated that the increasing volume of AI-generated code and sophisticated supply chain attacks necessitate these advanced capabilities. The new funding will support the continued development of Boost's platform, positioning it against established players and emerging startups in the AI code security market.
