Phishing Frame Security launches with $50 million to combat AI-driven social engineering May 12, 2026 Share By SC Staff Human risk security startup Frame Security launched today, announcing it has raised $50 million to develop its platform that uses artificial intelligence to protect employees from social engineering and deepfake attacks, according to Silicon Angle. Frame Security's platform leverages AI to create realistic attack simulations and provide tailored, on-the-spot guidance to employees. This approach addresses the evolving threat landscape, where generative AI has made social engineering attacks easier to create and harder to detect. According to Gartner data cited by Frame, a significant percentage of cybersecurity leaders encountered deepfake audio and video calls in 2025, with attackers impersonating executives and colleagues. The platform continuously analyzes employee behavior to identify specific threats individuals are most likely to face, allowing security teams to deploy relevant training rapidly. The company, founded by veterans of Israel's Unit 8200, already serves tens of enterprise customers, including Louis Dreyfus Co. and AlphaSense Inc. The new funding will support engineering, AI and cybersecurity research, and a global market expansion.
