Mergers and Acquisitions Torq acquires Jit.io to enhance AI-driven security operations May 19, 2026 Share By SC Staff (Adobe Stock) Autonomous security operations company Torq Ltd. announced its acquisition of cybersecurity startup Jit.io Ltd., which specializes in AI-driven context graphs for security investigations. This move aims to bolster Torq's AI SOC Platform by integrating Jit's technology, with further coverage provided by Silicon Angle. Jit.io, founded in 2021, initially offered a security-as-code platform for developers, consolidating various application security and DevSecOps tools. More recently, Jit pivoted to focus on AI agents and its AI Context Graph, which maps relationships between code, identities, roles, privileges, data sensitivity, and runtime behavior within an organization. Torq plans to integrate this graph technology into its platform to provide a more comprehensive, organization-specific context for its AI agents. This integration is intended to improve autonomous threat containment and prevention by offering a deeper understanding of alerts within an enterprise environment, moving beyond isolated event analysis. The acquisition follows Torq's recent $140 million Series D funding round and previous acquisition of Revrod, indicating a continued strategy of expanding its AI-driven security operations capabilities.
