A vulnerability (CVE-2025-48734, CVSS 8.8 HIGH) in Apache Commons BeanUtils allows arbitrary code execution when it incorrectly permits access to the `declaredClass` property of Java enum objects via externally supplied property paths. Affected versions are Apache Commons Beanutils from 1.0 through versions before 1.11.0, as well as version 2.0.0. The fix requires upgrading to version 1.11.0.
